I've already tried both options, but they are not as reliable as Activating the window. Some programs don't respond well.
If you run the last script and compare the hovering (when dragging file vs normal hover), even though both use WinActivate, activating while dragging files is so much snappier and it doesn't require the GUI to be active to continue tracking, unlike the default hot-tracking.
On top of that there is the 1ms delay of the default hot-tracking which is not helping either. I tried lower values but doesn't work.
So I want to replace the "default hot-tracking" with the way you are tracking while dragging files.
